Brandy Ice cream with Christmas pudding truffles (No-churn)
"It tastes like christmas" was pretty much the response I got from people trying this. Brandy cream and christmas pudding all rolled up into ice cream.

Baileys Frappé
The other night while I couldn't sleep and everything I have to get done before christmas was running around in my head, let's just say I haven't even started my christmas presents yet, I decided Baileys Frappés would be the perfect accompaniment to the holiday season. To me Baileys screams christmas but these would go down just as easy on a summers day. I'll be honest I don't drink but oh my heavens to murgatroyd was this amazing! I could quite possibly get drunk off of these by accident. After all the frappés I made in summer I'm pretty sure I've outdone myself with this one, not to toot my own horn! I do have a soft spot for frappés.
It's quick and easy, it takes longer to get out the ingredients than it does to make it and I'll tell you now you don't even need a powerful blender. I'm pretty sure our blender is on it's last leg because I have to give it a bit of a shake so it'll blend everything, nevertheless it works.

Gingerbread men cupcakes
As much as I love ginger I always find ginger cake to be quite stodgy sticky and sickly until this recipe walked into my life.

Gingerbread men
What's christmas without a little ginger? This is my favourite gingerbread recipe, they're nice and soft and it's very easy to eat a few thousand once you've started, okay, maybe not a few thousand. I made a batch of these for a family gathering last year and they were gone in about 10 minutes. I personally prefer the miniature gingerbread men although when I'm making them I forever feel like I'm rolling out and lining up little soldiers but I can guarantee they're well worth it.

Mocha Snowy delight cookies
This Christmas Cadbury's brought out a limited addition bar called Snowy delight. It's a christmas bar with vanilla flavour filling and oh my is it yummy. The filling tastes like vanillary white chocolate goodness and I am a sucker for milk and white chocolate together. This chocolate tastes uh-mazing with coffee, so I thought why not put it in a cookie.

Mince Pies
It's that time of year again, the shirt sleeves are getting rolled up, the christmas apron is out the cupboard and I'm swimming in jars of mincemeat. It's December and I can finally put my Christmas tree up and of course, it's time for mince pies!
These are one of my favourite things to eat at christmas, if not my favourite, aside from sausage stuffing balls but that's a whole other drool worthy story! Every year I'm just itching to have mince pies, and every year we end up buying some from the shops for a quick mince pie fix before we get around to making some, and every year I find the store bought mince pies shockingly terrible. You'd think I would have learnt by now but once the first batch is out the oven I guarantee if you're short of mince pies there will always be some in our house, they're like pringles, once you've have a munch you cant stop till you've had them all for lunch.
This is such a quick and easy recipe you could potentially gain time by making these! (just think about it). Would I go as far as saying I can almost hear santa on my roof when I eat them? maybe! Try them out you might even convert and become a mince pie maniac like myself. So without further gilding the lily and with no more ado....

S'mores Mocha
It's finally got cold in england, a little late in the year if you ask me, I am more than happy to walk around with a chill in the air. I know, you probably think I'm crazy, and I might possibly still be complaining it's not quite cold enough? I can already hear peoples disagreements and shunning, but what's best to go with cold weather than hot chocolate or coffee? Better yet, S'mores, hot chocolate or coffee! Well I have all 3 for you!
I must say, I'm really fussy about hot chocolate, I have a strange relationship with milk and all things creamy. I used to be obsessed with mochas it was my signature coffee that my friend, let's bare in mind she was pretty lazy back then, walked all the way from school to mine, in the opposite direction to her house, so she could have one. I kind of went off them a few years ago but they're making a come back.

S'mores truffle energy bites
This is a really simple recipe, I'm sure you've seen numerous recipes of energy balls floating around the internet and if you have never tried them I'd urge you to. I remember the first time I tried making these about a year and a half ago and I was amazed at how tasty they were, I would actually eat them instead of chocolate they were so tasty and they're full of goodness, what's not to love? I'll have to dig that recipe up and post it on here eventually but as I'm on a S'mores everything kick I figured why not make energy balls a little more interesting. Now you can enjoy the yumminess of S'mores and all the healthy goodness of the balls. They'd also make great snacks for kids.

Pumpkin Pudding Muffins
I was trying to find something different to make with pumpkin in and came across pumpkin pudding muffins by something swanky. This recipe had jell-o powder in, I'm not sure if you can get jell-o powder in england but I'm going to assume you can't because I'd probably be traipsing round the whole country looking for it; which I don't really fancy doing. I still couldn't resist trying to make these so I looked up a recipe for jell-o pudding mix and found one by Brown eyed Baker.
Although I can't compare these make your own to the bought jell-o powder kind these muffins were so yummy, they literally taste like autumn in your mouth. I may just have to start making these every year.
